Jesus. I have to say, I am pretty encouraged that the last 2 Heisman trophy winners, along with one of this years top candidates for the prestigious college football award all have relationships with Jesus (Tim Tebow-Florida, Sam Bradford-Oklahoma, and Colt McCoy-Texas). And it’s not like they just claim Christ because it’s the right thing to do, or the way their family wanted them to be. It’s obvious they have all experienced the goodness of a relationship with Jesus that is real…a relationship that defines their life, even though they are each highly successful college athletes with professional ball in the future (Lord willing). Tim Tebow’s parents were missionaries in the Phillippines (where he was born), and it is pretty obvious that his parent’s faith has become his own. I’d recommend checking out his family’s blog.
